At Fishingmonk, we are committed to delivering high-quality fishing gear to our customers in Australia in safe condition and within a reasonable timeframe. This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered, in line with standard practices followed by leading fishing tackle retailers.

Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation, unless otherwise stated at the time of order.
  • Orders are dispatched on business days only (excluding Sundays and Australian public holidays).
  • During peak seasons, sales, or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly extended.

Delivery Timeframes (Australia)

  • Standard Delivery: Most orders are delivered within 3–7 business days across Australia.
  • Remote & Regional Areas: Delivery may take longer depending on location and courier accessibility.
  • Once an order has been dispatched, delivery timelines are subject to the courier or postal service’s operational schedules.

Fishingmonk is not responsible for delivery delays caused by courier partners, postal services, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances once the parcel has been handed over.

Shipping Partners

  • We work with trusted Australian courier partners to ensure reliable delivery.
  • If a delivery address is not serviceable by our courier network, the order may be shipped via Australia Post or a government-registered postal service.

Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight and size of the items in your order.
  • When multiple items are purchased, weights are combined to determine a single shipping fee.
  • Fishing rods and oversized items are packed with extra protective materials to reduce the risk of damage during transit.

Fishingmonk reserves the right to update shipping charges at any time. Customers are encouraged to review this policy periodically.

International Shipping

  • Fishingmonk offers international shipping to select destinations.
  • International orders are generally dispatched within 1–2 business days.
  • Estimated delivery time for international shipments is 5–12 business days, depending on the destination, customs clearance, and local courier operations.
  • Any customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Damaged, Tampered, or Incorrect Deliveries

If you receive an item that is damaged, incorrect, or appears tampered with:

  1. Please record a clear unboxing video showing the package condition and product.
  2. Capture photos of the damaged or incorrect item.
  3. Contact us within 24 hours of receiving the order.

These steps are mandatory to process any refund, replacement, or exchange request.

Unavailability During Delivery

  • If you are unavailable during the first delivery attempt, the courier may attempt delivery up to two additional times.
  • After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel may be returned to us.
  • If re-delivery is requested, additional shipping charges may apply. The applicable amount will be communicated via email before re-dispatch.

How can we help?

Q: How Do I Change Or Cancel My Order?

A:We are unable to guarantee an order can be modified or canceled after it has been placed. Please email us at sales@fishingmonk.com.au immediately after placing your order and we will let you know promptly (within 24 business hours) if we are able to cancel or modify your order.

Q: My Shipment Was Damaged, What Can I Do?

A:We are sorry if your gear arrived damaged! Immediately reach out to us about damaged products at sales@fishingmonk.com.au and we will provide a return label to send the damaged product back. If appropriate, you will be refunded or a replacement order will be shipped out.

Q: Gear Was Missing From My Order, What Can I Do?

A:If there are missing items on your order, if the item is in stock, we will send an expedited replacement order to get the gear you originally ordered. Please call us or email us at sales@fishingmonk.com.au

Q: Where Is My Package?

A:After your order has shipped, you will receive an automated email with tracking information. Please note, it can take 24 hours for the tracking to become active. 

You can also track your package before it ships under "Order Status."

Q: How Can I Exchange A Product?

A:If you need a different size, color, or product please return your item(s) for a refund and place a new order at your convenience- we are unable to facilitate traditional exchanges. If you originally bought an item on sale, please reach out to us at sales@fishingmonk.com.au
and we can match the sales price if applicable.
